It
is just amazing how the amature astronamer can easaly obtain computerized
telescopes. Just the same, computer planatarioum simulators can help us
understand so much.

I
am recomending these binoculars highly. They were purchased by me for boating.
I was sold by the dealers demonstration of how rugged they were assembled,
the internal compas and the wide field of view. On a boat the wide field
and low power make them comfortable to use on a rocking deck. I noticed
how bright the image was while using them at night on anchor watch. The
moon had set on this night of example. Just using starlignt I could see
amazing detail on shore. I then scaned the milky way being blown away by
the spectacular view.
When I bought my pair in 1987 it wasent easy to pay close to five hundred
dollars. Yet now in 1997 I would gladly pay the asking price of six hundred
dollars. They have never let me down. And the one time they nedded repair;
the compas fell off the needle. Fuji treated me and my field glases with
the utmost respect. I have tried the new light weight polycarbonate framed
binoculars by Fujinon at the West Marine store and visulay could not tell
any diference from mine. And at half the weight and cost I don't see how
anyone can go wrong.
